Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Kalashnikov rifle plant on Wednesday and inspected weaponry there, including the new AK-12 rifle. The Kalashnikov company is the country's largest manufacturer of sniper, automatic, hunting and sport rifles, producing 95 percent of Russia's small arms.
